What issues can Daxxify address?
Daxxify is a form of botulinum toxin, the active ingredient in botox formulas that impedes muscle movement in targeted muscles when injected into the forehead and frown lines area. It works by temporarily weakening the muscles in the forehead and frown lines, so they are unable to expand or contract. When this happens, the appearance of wrinkles is also diminished.
What makes Daxxify different?
Daxxify is is the only botox treatment to date that lasts up to 6 months for most, and 9 months for some. Thanks to its peptide-powered formula, you can expect results to last twice as long as normal.

Supriya Tomar, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained specialist in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction. Dr. Tomar graduated from the University of Illinois with honors and highest departmental distinction in Biological Sciences. She then received her medical degree from Rush University School of Medicine in Chicago. She received her dermatology training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and went on to receive extensive training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the leading skin cancer treatment facility, The Center for Dermatology and Skin Surgery, in Tampa.

Originally born in New York, Jackie moved to South Florida with her family when she was young. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2007 from Palm Beach Atlantic University. After graduating, she began her career as an RN at St. Mary’s Medical Center,. working primarily with the Pediatric Oncology and Neonatal Intensive Care departments. Jackie returned to school to pursue a Master’s degree in 2010. She graduated as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013 from Florida Atlantic University.

In some cases, our Daxxify patients begin to see a noticeable improvement in as little as 1 day, with the full results emerging in about 2-3 days. Depending on whether or not this is your first time getting Daxxify or any neurotoxin, and how severe your wrinkles are, you can expect your results to last anywhere from 6-9 months. Repeat injections will be needed after that to maintain your results. Some patients find that subsequent treatments tend to last longer.
