We’ve seen patients have the best results from their treatment when they used a retinol cream in conjunction with a growth factor cream for a couple weeks prior to treatment. Although the retinol should be stopped a few days prior to treatment, and resumed once your skin is healed.
Staying out of direct sunlight and using a gentle cleanser in the evening on the day of your treatment paired with your moisturizer of choice will help your skin start the healing process, and then Vitamin C, E & Ferulic Acid starting on day 2 combined with Regenerative Growth Factor Creme. The microneedling of the treatment creates columns in the skin, making it much easier for your skin to absorb products like this and get their maximum benefits.
